S.

This is one of my most favorite portraits lately.

I have recently entered into an inspirational phase, having to do with contemporary portrait. I just cannot get enough of portraits that show connection and sincere emotion, they tell about the person being photographed just through their eyes. It's like a way into their soul.

Isn't it just beautiful?

Happy birthday, Stella!

Happy birthday to my dear friend Stella! May you have the most amazing year ahead of you full of laughter, parties, and frequent getaways in places nice and cozy! :)))))) :*

5 days to Christmas: Stella's Winter Glitter

It's almost that time of the year. You know...jeans, warm boots, thick coats, fluffy scarves, gloves, socks, pajamas, cold air, lit-up fireplaces, dark beer, hot red wine, grill, cottages in the middle of nowhere, eiderdowns, waking up before daylight, Christmas cookies, hot chocolate, red noses, mountains, ski, snowboard, ice-skating, hoodies, holidays, coziness, and snow, more snow :)))

Did you picture that already?! My friend Stella definitely did! =) She's one of those people who love winter glitter in all it's beauty.

With a tint of some hot red wine and a fabulous model at hand, I am starting my short but long-awaited 5-days-to-Christmas countdown!

Are you ready? ;)

Day 126: Briliantin Spring Ball 2011

There is a place in Sofia where retro music sounds good even to those who don't enjoy it that much. I am talking about a club with pleasant atmosphere, good-looking people, original drinks and classic retro music like nowhere else in Sofia. I'm talking about Briliantin (www.briliantin.com). This is the only place for non-chalga music in town, that keeps busy throughout the whole week, from my experience. And that's just another big reason I am taking a bow. There's just one disadvantage to it - it is never too big to fit all of its customers.

I was invited to their Spring Ball a couple of weeks ago and the party took place at a way bigger venue, not in the disco club itself. It was still cracking full and strangers would hug each other by trying to fit inside. The organizers had invited the C+C MUSIC FACTORY feat. FREEDOM WILLIAMS that rocked the audience. And of course, the breaker boys were a 10! :)))

P.S. Can't wait for the summer parties at Briliantin Sunny Beach... ;)

Day 125: Made in Home

A few weeks ago when we were counting the first warm days after the cold, cold winter, my friend Stella invited me for a Sunday coffee at a really nice, fresh and brand new cafeteria in Sofia downtown. It was so good I actually forgot I had my camera so I could make a post about it. So what can I do about it? I'm going again! :)))

Meanwhile, as it was such a wonderful Sunday weather outside that we took a walk until Stella figured she could take me to a different kind of new and very original restaurant for a late lunch. The place is called Made in Home (http://www.facebook.com/pages/MADE-IN-HOME/351358010611?v=photos#!/pages/MADE-IN-HOME/351358010611?sk=wall) and one can easily pass it by without paying attention, but once you get inside, you feel it's a different type of place. Like interiors, food is organic, and tastes a bit strange at first, but healthy after all. Everything is quite original, and the table we took was all stamped with authentic letters on paper from a real person to his family in the beginning of last century. If you are up for something different, you can check this one out.

Day 64 - Happy birthday, Stelli!

Happy birthday, Stelli! I have a special message from Mickey Mouse and it says he loves you back 8:o)
..I wish this next year you make the rest of your dreams come true! ♥♥♥

Day 47 - My very own camera necklace

A few days ago I got a brand new camera =) ...and this one is so pretty and light enough to carry everywhere...because it comes on a necklace :)))))))

A couple of months ago I fell in love with a camera necklace over the internet and I shared that with my friend Stella. The thoughtful friend she is, and has always been throughout the past 10 years we've known each other, she found it just in time for Christmas! :)))

I must admit this is one of the most awesome gifts I have ever been given, and most of all I was truly surprised!

A big THANK YOU, Stelli, once again :))))))))))
