Tsveti's 1st birthday

Tsveti's mommy has been one of my closest friends like forever. I remember playing with her even before we went to kindergarten together. It's amazing how childhood friendships, if they last long enough, they could sometimes last forever.

Last week was Tsveti's first birthday party and I was so happy to be there to capture it all. I've heard many stories of babies' first birthdays and mommies saying "Never again!" after a party or two...So far I've shot a couple of these and I found them so much fun I cannot believe someone could be terrified of it. Anyway, different babies, different parties I guess ;)
On Tsveti's first birthday I met so many cute little creatures, it made me wanna be their age and act all cute and funny, you know :)))))) Here's just a few of my shots that day.
And who knows, maybe someday I'll get to shoot Tsveti's babies first birthdays :))))

Day 145: Eurovision 2011@ Dusseldorf

I accidentally happened to be in Dusseldorf the night of the Eurovision 2011 Finale. It was so exciting walking around with all those happy people from all around Europe. I never imagined I would have so much fun. We had dinner in a nice restaurant I've been to before, and then the crowd led us to a street full of bars and cafe's where the heart of Dusseldorf was beating at a fast rate. We just entered one of the overcrowded bars when a couple of girls were leaving, so we got lucky with those upfront seats with perfect view of the TV where everyone was watching the show live. It was almost time for the final scores by then so excitement was at its peak point. Did I mention how good that cocktail was...and how far more excited it made me :D

It's probably the first time I go abroad for work, and I have so much fun on the side! I wish I have more of these in the future :))))))))

Day 126: Briliantin Spring Ball 2011

There is a place in Sofia where retro music sounds good even to those who don't enjoy it that much. I am talking about a club with pleasant atmosphere, good-looking people, original drinks and classic retro music like nowhere else in Sofia. I'm talking about Briliantin (www.briliantin.com). This is the only place for non-chalga music in town, that keeps busy throughout the whole week, from my experience. And that's just another big reason I am taking a bow. There's just one disadvantage to it - it is never too big to fit all of its customers.

I was invited to their Spring Ball a couple of weeks ago and the party took place at a way bigger venue, not in the disco club itself. It was still cracking full and strangers would hug each other by trying to fit inside. The organizers had invited the C+C MUSIC FACTORY feat. FREEDOM WILLIAMS that rocked the audience. And of course, the breaker boys were a 10! :)))
