Day 3 - Little Miss Cute-Angry-Face

Nikon D60, 18-55mm, ISO 100, f /6.3, 1/60sec. Obviously not fast enough, and focus was not at her face, too bad.

Today was a super busy day, and I had no time to think of a new photo. Instead, I felt like trying some new things in PS on a photo of a pretty little girl I took while on a trip to Lisbon, Portugal, May 2010. This is what I came up with. It's a bit too extreme maybe, or maybe not. I need to let it stay for a few days in order to decide that myself.

Day 2 - Yoghurt in a Jar

I came up with three different perspectives while trying to get just one photo for today's blog post. It took me a while to decide which one to upload, but then I realized they are all quite different, so I decided to go with the three of them altogether. I do have a problem with choosing one out of a couple more and I hope that changes with time as well ;)

The first image was taken with a Nikon D700, 50mm, ISO 400, f/1.8, 1/30sec, kitchen lamp, no flash. I just switched the levels a tiny bit so I get more contrast.
It came out quite blurry but I think that's what I like about it.

This one I took with the D700 again, 50m, ISO 400, f/1.8, 1/60sec, kitchen lamp, no flash. I slightly changed the levels again. I love my 50mm :)))))))

The last one I shot with the D700 again, 50m, ISO 400, f/1.8, 1/125sec, kitchen lamp, no flash. Change of levels applied as with the other two.I think this one is my favorite. Kind of reminds me of the empty bottom of a coffee mug. Oh yes, I am superstitious and my imagination knows no limits.. ;)

Day 1 - Mr. Snowball Treehugger

This is the first image out of 365 I plan to take in this photo challenge. I can't wait to see my work a year from now!! :))))

Photo was taken with a Nikon D700, 50mm, A-mode, f/1.8, 1/30sec, ISO 2000, no flash.

I photo-challenge myself as of today!

I've been spending most of my free time lately reading books and articles, as well as watching online tutorials on how to improve my photography, but I got so carried away by all the information I gathered that I simply didn't have the time to really take advantage of it all. Moreover, as a result I had to cut on things I used to enjoy doing before that do not involve spending the day on a chair. So I decided I needed some structure on a daily basis and here's how I plan to do it.

As of today I am going to be posting a new photo every day, I would be trying new techniques of shooting and post-processing and see how far I get with time. I am planning to have fun, fun, and only fun with this task.
I would not limit myself by any other rule but that of posting a brand new photo each day.

So, I push ;)
